Advise needed

I buy my jeans from American Eagle, but they always have this nasty odor to them. They’re brand new, got them straight from the store. Anyone else have the same problem? I obviously have washed them but the smell won’t go away, any suggestions? I don’t want to stop buying jeans from there but if the smell won’t go away I might have to. :( Any advise is appreciated! :)
