So my husband and I couldn’t decide between 2 names. He was stuck in Hailey and me on Norah neither of us wanted to budge.

So he came up with an idea to have 3 “games” to pick. So the first round was ya flipping a coin (he won) second we called friends and family and had them pick a number (I won) and the third we had our dogs pick a treat (we tied)...all 3 rounds we had no control over the outcome.

So to break the tie we each picked a card and highest won best out of 5 so I won

I was so excited that her name is going to be Norah until I called my Mom and her response was “congratulations to you, I like Hailey better”

It just kind of burst my bubble and now I’m not even excited anymore because I know everyone we tell is going to say the same thing.

Having a name I love so much and just feel right but having everyone not like it sucks so bad
