I am a grad student. This semester is the last one before starting internship this Fall 2019. I talked to my program advisor, and because i received a scholarship I would need to begin internship in the fall(initially I wanted to take the semester off) . However, they are willing to let me take about 6-8 weeks off after I deliver the baby in August. Although it’s not ideal to start internship 6 weeks after I deliver baby, it would also mean that I get to keep my scholarship and graduate on time. I would be working in a school so my schedule would be from 8-3, 5 days a week and with all the nice breaks all the kids get from school.

My question is, have any of you taken off this little time for work? I’m sure it was though, but how did you manage ?
