Our 7w5d old has just barely started. The smiles are pretty few and far between, though. This is my second baby and I don't feel like he's off track at all. Every baby is different. Maybe yours isn't smiling yet because he's too busy analyzing and surveying his surroundings. Give it time, mama. If he doesn't start by his two month appointment, bring it up to your doc. But I'm sure he's fine. He's beautiful, btw!

Mind didn’t smile until just before 7 weeks! He’s 8 weeks now and smiles very often. Have to get really close to his face though lol.
