Okay so to start let me say I rarely take ibuprofen (like 2-3 times a year) and when I do I have never taken more than 2 in a day. I am 20 years old. My periods are usually very light but I experience a lot of cramping.

I just started my period and I couldn’t sleep this morning cause of cramps so I took an ibuprofen (5am)... then because they were getting worse I took another a little over a half hour later and the pain stopped shortly after that... temporarily.. Now it is going on 3pm and I’ve taken 6 ibuprofens today (my stomach is so nauseous so I have to stop) and I still hurt.. the pain goes down my thighs and into my lower back, the muscles in my legs are weak as well. I can move around but it almost feels like a light fever when your aching but can still function. I’m worried about how I’ll be when the ibuprofen wears off... I have a doctor appointment tomorrow but I’m curious if anyone else has pain like this?
