Is this a blown vein?

Question

I was in the hospital Sunday (4 days ago) to get fluids because I’d been dizzy and apparently dehydrated at 28 weeks pregnant. 
Anyway, the iv hurt from start to finish, kept getting occluded and beeping, and I had a visible hole in my arm after it was out like they used a huge catheter for it 😑
This is from today, hole mark is still visible and painful bruise has gotten worse.

IVs are normally 18g so it's common to have a hole where the IV was inserted after it is removed. If it was blown you would have known as they would have changed the site of the IV. It looks like normal bruising to me. If it became occluded several times it's probably because the placement and when it was moved or bent it stopped so it probably wasnt the greatest place to put one, but they will put one where they can get one. 
I was a CMA/Phlebotomist. I worked in a hospital and often assisted nurses putting in IVs.

Did the area around your IV insertion ever swell up with fluid? And they had to change it? If not, probably not a collapsed vein. 
When I was hospitalized pregnant with my son I was hooked up to IVs for weeks and almost all of my veins collapsed. I could tell when it was happening because the area where the IV was would start to swell suddenly and fill with fluid from the IV. They would have to take needle out and place it in another vein.

It’s very common for bruising after an IV was removed. The fact that you were dehydrated makes the veins flat and hard to work with
