Hello ladies,

I got hit with the stomach bug at only 4 weeks pregnant. I ended up in the hospital due to severe nausea and dehydration. I was prescribed 25 mg promethazine. I made a call to my OB and she it was a little early to be taking nausea medicine and she didn’t want it to interfere with the growth of the baby. I am starting to get nervous because I previously lost a pregnancy to a neural tube defect and don’t want to take anything that may risk that. Does anyone have experience with taking that so early in their pregnancy?
