not normal extremely heavy bleeding

I am fourteen and have been having my period since i was 13.5. My periods are usually normal to light since I do 22 hours of rhythmic gymnastics per week. Yesterday, all of a sudden, my period became EXTREMELY heavy. I’m going through 1 pad per hour and I use the tiny ob tampons and i’ve been going through them in like thirty min. I had my period monday and sunday and it was regularly light. Is this normal?
