So I’m in my mid 20s and I just recently started my period a few days ago. I was really hungover (which drinking while on my period has never been a problem for me). Well I woke up with cramps like usual however they were very intense. I was in a motel and walked to the nearby gas station to pick up midol while my fiancé was sleeping. I didn’t want him to worry so I just told him I was getting pain meds. This type of pain was so horrible and I’d never had such bad cramps before. And trust me my cramps usually get really bad. The pain was so bad I couldn’t hardly walk and had to stop with every few steps I took because the pain was so intense that I felt it on my inner thighs. I was shaking and had hot flashes. When I got the meds I had to sit on the curb to take my meds and the motel was just right across the street. I felt like I was going to pass out and couldn’t make it back to my room. So I went to the hotel lobby and just kinda sat there. The guy in the lobby was pretty concerned and asked if I needed to go to the hospital, after a few minutes I had them call my parents to take me. and by the time my parents got there the pain meds kicked in and suddenly it was gone. Now despite that incident this was a fairly normal period and wasn’t too heavy. I sometimes have pain during sex as well. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
