I have been considering boy names and I keep coming back to the name Iris. I know it's mostly used as a girls name but honestly I think it's such a strong name🤷 do you think it could be used as a boy name?

Maybe go with Ira? It's an old name but it's traditionally masculine.

I say go for it. I named my daughter Finley which is a boys name. If you love the name, be confident and stand tall. Courtney is also generally a girls name but I know a man named Courtney. Hell, I talked to a man named Pink. Not lying.

Iris is my grandma’s name, and it’s also the goddess of the rainbow. I think he’d be teased in school (kids can be so cruel!) maybe you could go with Aris, or maybe Eros, as alternatives.
