So something awful happened this week, my bonus son Theo(4) lost his mom and little sister in a fire.

The fire started in the room they were sleeping in, his mom could break a window and get him out but sadly could not save his little sister and herself.

My poor Theo watched his little sister die and heard his mother screaming.

Currently we are going to take him for trauma counselling and he does know that his mom and sister didn't make it but I am so overwhelmed with this entire situation.

My heart is so heavy, this little boy lost so much and it's up to his father and I to make sure he has the best life possible.

I've known him since he was one and he calls me mommy but this is a huge adjustment for all of us.

He is going to school with his little brother (6 months old) and is enjoying it so far.

Can anyone give me advice for two boys? I am emotionally drained and so physically exhausted and honestly this whole situation is just has put my husband and I in a tight spot which adds to the pressure. This story is in the news, I've had newspapers phone me, it's all over facebook so the pressure is even more.

I'm not just his step mom anymore, I'm his only mom.

Any advice for a desperate mom?
