I see this all the time:

“ I was induced with pitocin and the pain was terrible”

“Pitocin contractions are the worst”

I sincerely don’t get this. I went into labor spontaneously and my contractions were the absolute worst pain I had ever felt in my life. I didn’t have a drop of pitocin!

So this question is for moms who have experienced BOTH and actually can compare-which contractions are worse?

Because I don’t think spontaneous labor contractions can possibly hurt any less than induction contractions- THEY’RE CONTRACTIONS. Period. They hurt.
