Vitamin b6 & unisom losing its effect?

Anybody else had success with this combination at first but it stopped working over time? It was perfect at first, I took 30 mg of unisom & 100 mg of vitamin b6 right before bed. I’ve only had it for two weeks & i’m back miserable all over again🤦🏾‍♀️ I was diagnosed with HG but I had hope that I would find some relief😩 The er gave me an prescription for Zofran, but Zofran works to prevent nausea not treat it, & I try my best to not use it due to a lot of speculations about it! I’m just feeling really miserable, I’m only 10 weeks 😥😓 I have no appetite what so ever but I’m starving and so nauseous. Everything I try to eat I throw it up so that makes me never want that particular food again, liquids just makes everything worse 🙄 I’m just over it!

Maybe you need a higher strength Zofran Rx. It should definitely be treating and not just preventing nausea. Pharmacy resident here if that helps.

I did 25mg of B6 throughout the day, and took one of the doses with unisom before bed. I have heard from some women that the rx version (diclegis) worked way better for them than the OTC I was originally given zofran, but it didn't do much for me and I had far more success with reglan. Talk to your doctor and see what your options are.

My doctor also doesn’t recommend Zofran in the first trimester. Too many risks linked with Zofran in the last 10yrs. It’s why he instead suggested Vitamin B6 and Unisom

Try breaking up the Vitamin B6 dosage. I took 50mg 3x a day and the unisom at night
