Today is a wonderful day. It started off with a ton of work and the only good thing about it was that it’s Friday and the weekend was almost here. Then i got an email from my doctor.

About 3 weeks ago we got the results back from my combined NT scan & initial screening for baby, bloodwork was indicative of 1:50 risk of Down’s Syndrome, due to two makers, high free beta hCG levels and low PAPP-A. We did a more thorough NIPT test and the results just came back today.

My darling baby is healthy and blood tests are negative for all trisomies and a few other chromosomal abnormalities. I was so relieved! I never imagined this kind of relief before... But then, while reading the report, I read the section about fetal sex. My knees started shaking, I’ve dreamed of this and wished for it ever since we started trying, even before that, when we were just planning for our future kids, imagining what they would be like. I always knew I wanted two boys and a girl. And today, my first wish is granted. Our first baby is a little BOY! 💙 I’m so so happy, I couldn’t wish for anything more. My heart is so content... I feel blessed. And I cannot wait to meet my little man 💙👶🏻❤️
