Excruciating Nipples?

Question

Has anyone else experienced painful nipples? 
I mean the kind of pain were it feels like they’re being chewed on, by a tiger, and I constantly check whether they’re not actually bleeding. I am in cold weather, but definitely not freezing...
This started happening this week. 
Any remedies?? Please. 
This has been by far the worst side effect I’ve experience this whole pregnancy...

Try lanolin cream is great and designed for breastfeeding. I had some from my last son and when I feel the pain now I put a bit on and it helps. Safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

I had it, I think it's your breasts gearing up for the milk to eventually come in. I went and got a nipple butter, it helps take a little of the pain away.  Mine also would get super dry even after lotion so I grabbed the nipple butter and now there not dry

If it's the same pain I am getting it travels right though your breast as well the only thing I have found that helps is running a flannel under warm water and putting on your nipple
