Sex safe?

Question

So we went to my obgyn when we first found out I was pregnant. They estimated me at 2-3 weeks. I go back in between 7 and 8. 
She told us if we were concerned to refrain from sex because it could cause spotting which may freak us out.my husband took that as "Don't have sex until after you come back."
Please someone chime in and let me know it's ok. 😂

Honestly I wouldn’t risk it cuz it WILL freak u out. 
A lot of women bleed after sex during pregnancy. 
But it’s up for u to judge, just know the risk

Sex is totally safe, unless there’s a medical reason for it not to be! 
I personally had sex with my partner multiple times before my first ultrasound, & have done since (when I’m not feeling sick & crappy 😂). 
Spotting can happen (it hasn’t with me), but I don’t think sex can actually cause a ‘miscarriage’, the spotting would more likely be caused by everything being so sensitive down there.
If your both up for it, it’s fine 😊. I personally felt the same as your husband at first, but soon caved into my partner 😂, & so glad I did. I freaked myself out over absolutely nothing 😊

My obgyn told me to refrain from sex until my first scan. That was 4 weeks ago! (I went in early for bloodwork bc of minor spotting). She said it would just worry me to see more spotting. My husband is being so adorable and is actually terrified to have sex with me now. Not to mention I’ve never been less interested in sex in my life at the moment. I have my scan Monday so 🙏🏻🤞🏻
