Totally happened to me! I tested 11 or 12 DPO and saw nothing. Then 14 DPO, there it was, a dark second line.

Tested 12dpo 1 day before expected period, to a very faint line. 13dpo got darker

In my first pregnancy I didn't get my first vvvvvfl until 20DPO, 5 days after AF was late.
Even if you know when you ovulated, you'll never know when implantation occurs.
