RSV anyone?

My 2yr old has RSV anyone had to deal with this before? He got prescribed a steroid liquid medicine for 5 days.

My son had RSV at 8 months old and was hospitalized for 5 days. The doctors and respiratory therapists recommended the babyvac while we were at the hospital. We got it as soon as we got home and it is amazing! We use it every time he has a bad cold now. Way better than the nose Frieda for RSV. Just keep an eye on the breathing and dehydration.

My son had RSV at 3 months old and was medically complex so he was hospitalized for a little over a week. It’s rough but day 3-4 are usually the worst.

My son’s just got over it a few days ago. They’re 15 months and 7wks. Thankfully they got over it within 2 wks and it was really just a stuffy nose and bit of a cough. We did humidifiers at night, hylands cold meds for our older son and a natural chest rub for him as well. I breastfeed so I think that may have helped my NB . I like to think so anyway.

My 3 year old and 4 month old just had it. The 3 years old wasn’t too bad and did ok but the baby was horrible. She is still sick but getting better. We just watched her close and took her to the dr twice to have her lungs and oxygen levels checked. She still has a very bad cough but is getting much better compared to Monday which was the worst. Days 3-5 are the worst but the cough can linger for a few weeks. They didn’t give any meds for either of the kids though cuz it’s viral.
