I became a mom at 9:47 am to the most beautiful baby boy i have ever layed eyes on. Induction process was 100% worth it.

Also new mommy’s to be: we all know labor and delivery is all about us troopers delivering these bundles of joy. But don’t forget to check on your significant others and see how they are handling things. Today was really humbling when i saw my husband on the verge of tears after the nurse corrected how the baby was laying. After she left He tearfully let out his fears and how much he wanted to do right by his son and is so scared to do something to hurt him.

Guys. I wept. I felt so guilty (still do) that i had never just stopped and told him “honey you’re doing great”. Things got so crazy and i got so into my child and recovery that i never once thought about how my husband is handing this new incredible responsibility on his shoulders.

All this to say i so appreciate the man i am lucky enough to call my husband and my sons father ❤️
