I know I just posted about wanting a new piercing, but it made me notice I’ve never sought information on an issue I have relative to piercings.

I have a severely compromised immune system from being chronically ill and the medication I’m on (all immune-suppressants).

So without fail, I get an infection every piercing, and it always takes months to heal (even my lobes).

I usually just go on antibiotics whenever I get a piercing, but being on AB’s causes secondary infections every single time and I’m so tired of it.

I do the saline soaks, oral AB’s, topical AB’s, the lot. Is there something different I can try instead of having to go all-out on antibiotics just for a piercing?
