Anyone else just have no desire at all to breast feed?? I don’t mean because of medical reasons either. I do have a medical reason for not doing it but even if I didn’t have that reason I still wouldn’t breast feed (yes I know all the benefits) simply because it doesn’t appeal to me. I’ve been getting shit from my family and my moms friends (they don’t know I also have a medical reason for not breast feeding, I don’t feel like it’s their business to know my medical history anyways) I always get comments like “you should give it a chance” like no I don’t want to stop bringing it up “you have to breast feed it’ll make them smart” coming from someone who has no children, nor ttc so I really doubt they even know the hassle that comes with breastfeeding “you should do it, it’ll make you lose baby weight” I’m not saying it doesn’t help but I know plenty of women that did this & still have baby weight on them. I just wish that when people find out I’m not breast feeding it would just be a “whatever works for you” and that’s it. Like why is that so hard. I’m tired of getting lectured on how I’m choosing to parent even though my choice isn’t even going to cause any harm to my baby 🙄 sorry this turned into a mini rant I guess I really needed to get this out somewhere lol
