Elevated AFP on Quad Screen?

Hi ladies,
Has anyone gotten elevated results on the Quad screen? They're referring me to a specialist to get a detailed ultrasound. I'm a FTM and I've been low key anxious this whole pregnancy that something would go wrong. I'm 17 weeks. I guess I'm just hoping to hear some stories from others, whether things turned out okay or not. Thanks

I had one that was a false positive. The rate of false positives for this test is pretty high so it's easy to make you anxious.

I’m in the same exact boat as you, so no answers unfortunately. My Dr said he hates these screening tests since they cause anxiety and typically nothing comes from them. My OB reflected the same thoughts as well.

I have had 2 friends recently get false positives on the quad screen. My doctor isn't even doing it on me we did the panorama instead. I wouldn't worry a bit that test is garbage and creates unnecessary worry
