Calling our son by his middle name?

We’re making him a junior but plan to call him by his middle name. Opinions?

My husband and all his brothers are juniors (different dads). They go by their middle names. It's very normal. Girls go by their middle names all the time too

my sister goes by her middle name, my cousin's husband's family has a tradition where each son takes the middle name of the father as their first name with a new middle name they go by. kind of cool in my opinion! I plan to nickname my sons using their middle names.
