Umm a bit more swelled than normal???

Question

Second or third day after getting snake bites pierced, I woke up with horrendous swelling that I couldn’t stop crying and had to actually remove the jewelry myself and put in old studs I own for now...

As for this photo the swelling has gone down . Has anyone experienced this before?!

That’s so weird they pierced it with rings, it probably made the swelling worse. I would’ve changed it to studs too. As long as you keep up with sea salt soaks and sterilized the jewelry, you’re fine.

I've always had extreme swelli g with my lip piercings.... waiting to studs was the best.... And mine always swelled bad at night because of how I slept... after a week they went down... If your start to get worse and not better take them out also remember that you still need to clean them with salt water !

This was done by a reputable piercer???? Should NOT have been done with rings. Also you should never change your own jewelry that soon. Go see another piercer at a different location for a second opinion. Or join the Facebook group “Ask A Professional Piercer” and post there.
