So I was set to give birth on February 10th I was excited and nervous all at once. Since the hospital was over an hour away and I have a brother that stays in city we asked if we could spend the night so 11

AM on the 9th we are traveling up to my brothers and I start having mild contractions at first I thought they were Braxton Hicks and because they started right at 10 minutes apart I assumed it couldn’t be real but I still timed them. So we get to right about two miles away from the hospital, we had to pass it to get to my brothers, and I decide what the heck I’m in pain and either way if I’m not in labor it’s not like I’m going back home anyway they will probably keep me if I’m here late enough and I’ll be here tomorrow. So we go to the hospital Er, I tell them I believe I’m in labor, show the nurse my contraction timer and get admitted. Roughly 25 minutes after I arrive the doctor team on duty see me and to my shock inform me that I am 6 cm dilated and will be having the baby the same day my doctor, I was told later on, was leaving my hometown and going home for the day gets the call that I’m in labor and comes to the hospital immediately where at 6:38 pm I delivered a healthy 7 pound 5 oz baby boy who will probably never live by a schedule
