Every single time my parents ask me for money, I say yes. Usually the reply is “I promise I’ll pay you back” and that NEVER happens. I put in $500 and my mom never paid me back. I paid for dinner because my dad forgot his wallet, and he never paid me back. Whenever I brought it up, they always said “stop being so selfish. We buy you things all the time!” Except... they don’t? Once in a blue moon, I guess? “We put it towards your Christmas gifts” which is like, shoes and a blanket. Well if I had to choose between gifts or money, I WANT THE MONEY. I was TRYING to save for a car, but I guess that’s not going to happen 😒 I have college, I cant afford to be guilt tripped and be told I’m selfish for wanting what was promised back. No more loaning I guess.
