I am only 5 months pp and have found out I’m pregnant. (This was not planned). Do you think I’d be able to try for a vbac?

My OB won’t even attempt a v bac until there is at least 2 years between pregnancies.  Ask your OB.

Generally no. 18 months between births is usually the minimum amount of time with 2+ years being ideal. The less time between births the greater the risk.

So yes it is possible but your success rate is lowered to 60-70 percent.
