OBGYN issues?

I feel like every time I tell my OBGYN about an issue I’m having they just refer me to urgent care. I dislike that because it costs me about the same to go to their office as it does to go to Urgent Care. Today, I told them I have had consistent headaches which won’t respond to Tylenol. In my first appointment, they told me to tell them if that happened and if it was causing me to not sleep. Is it wrong of me to be upset by this?

If you feel like your OB is not listening to you, I strongly suggest that you find a new office to go to. A good doctor/midwife should be listening to you and helping you feel like they care. Referring you to urgent care— especially during flu season— isn’t exactly helpful.

Find another doctor, also for headaches the coffee. Tylenol literally did NOTHING for my headaches but a cup or two of coffee and boom gone

An OB will only treat you for things pregnancy related that poses a risk to the baby or pregnancy. Other issues like cold/flu, headaches etc they won't treat you,  you need an urgent care or primary care physician. That's pretty standard.

My headaches were due to elevated blood pressure. We upped my bp meds and I drastically reduced my salt intake and it has helped a lot. Try cutting your salt down and get a new dr. They should not keep referring you to urgent care unless it’s after hours. You should be seeing at least the nurse.
