Weight Won’t Come Off
Has anyone else had this issue? I am doing Keto and sticking to 12-1600 calories a day, under 20 net carbs...and I lost about five pounds the first week but now I keep bouncing back and forth between gaining and losing the same 3 pounds. I’m not drinking or doing cheat days so I’m confused. Also confused as to why I can’t drop weight from cutting my calories seeing as I was eating about 2500+ before and heavy drinking. I expected it to come off fairly quickly :/ any ideas?
And I forgot to add to give a better idea:
I am 230 lbs and I felt best at about 180 so that’s my goal.
My doctor had told me she thought drinking was keeping weight on and I quit. She also tested my thyroid but all seems to be fine. She just told me to keep trying 🤷♀️
Also I had an eating disorder in high school. Will that affect losing weight as an adult?
