Will an at home doppler work?

I have a good bit of belly fat for it to get through but thinking about trying one.

I meant to hit yes. It just might take a little longer to hear the heartbeat. I never got one because it would just stress me out more than it’s worth if I couldn’t hear anything

I found mine today at exactly 10 weeks. Someone in another group told me I shouldn’t trust it because it’s still really early but I took a video of my heart rate and a video of the baby’s heart rate and put the videos together and you can clearly tell that they are very different. I’m 5’3 and 225lbs.

It works for me you have to push about harder through the fat to you baby bump. Sometimes I get it instantly others I have to work a bit. I’m 20 weeks today

Definitely! It’s HARD to find through the thicker “chubs” as I lovingly call mine, but can always find it if I angle the probe up toward my belly button scanning down near my pubic bone under the belly roll! I’m 17 weeks today, but began consistently finding it around 9 weeks!

You have to go under your belly all the way down to really hear the heartbeat but it’ll definitely work! In the beginning it took me a little while to find baby’s heart but now that I’m further along I can find her heartbeat in less than a minute.

I heard mine at 6w3d. Most of my weight is in my mid section. I’m 5’7 and 195.

I don’t see why it shouldn’t. I’ve found mine a couple times but I have an anterior placenta so I kinda gave up looking
