Appropriate age for children to be outdoors alone
Bouncing off of a thread in another post that got me thinking.
My oldest is 5 and she goes out to our backyard all the time to play, sometimes our neighbors 6 year old comes and joins her. I have cameras and leave our side door open and peek my head out every few minutes. But is this too young?
At what age do you think it’s appropriate?
Also, this is just for back yard play. Not front, not walking to the gas station, not riding a bike down a road.
