I have been on the pill for a year now. I have been having trouble getting in touch with my doctor and I couldn’t get a refill as it was time for me to start a new pack. I contacted planned parenthood and they sent me some pills in the meantime. However, of course it is a different type of birth control pill. Am I safe to have sex? I haven’t missed any days besides the 7 days that I’m not supposed to take them because of my cycle. But I’m worried about changing birth control pills and dosages. Planned parenthood didn’t ask me any questions about what type of pills I was on... they just sent me some.
