So I was previously on the depo shot for 2-3 years before switching to nexplanon about 5 months ago. After reading about how effective the implant was, my boyfriend and I quit using condoms as added protection about 4 months ago. Now we’re considering moving to the next step, with him finishing in me. I was wondering if anyone else has gone to this extent with the implant and been fine as that is our biggest concern as a child simply cannot be in the picture right now.
