So correct me if I'm wrong but isn't NFP basically a glorified version of the pull out method? The only difference is you track your cycle and fertile window on NFP. But it doesn't take into account that you can get pregnant at any point in your cycle, you can even get pregnant on your period. Just because the chances of pregnancy are higher during the fertile window doesn't mean you cant get pregnant at all when the window ends
