I’ve been living with my roommate for 5 years and honestly it’s been the best living situation. We have different schedules and we travel for work so a lot of the time we don’t see each other but when we are home its been great. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 9 months and I can’t help but feel that lately she has had a issue with him being around. In the last five 5 years this has been the only guy that I’ve been serious about and brought around so I’m not understanding the awkwardness. She broke up with her boyfriend a couple months ago and he was here all the time and it never was an issue for me like he basically moved in and I never said a word about it. When I first got with my boyfriend we saw each other maybe once or twice a month because he didn’t have a car but now that he does he comes over basically when I’m not working and I see him a lot more. In the 5 years, we have been living together she has had multiple relationships maybe about 5 or 6 and they always stay over whenever and I never had a problem because it’s not my place to care what she has going on with whoever. I’m just super confused as to why now that I have someone here and I make sure to clean up after ourselves and stay out of each other’s way, why she is acting so weird now. I know that it’s time for us to move out and stuff and I’m definitely ready for us to get our own space but our lease isn’t up yet so it doesn’t make sense to just up and leave yet. Any opinions on why she has been acting like this?
