Hey all!

I’ve been spotting pretty much today off and on since I found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago. Long story short I’ve since had two ultrasounds, first one showed a 4cm subchorionic hemorrhage outside of the sac.

My doctors didn’t seem too worried as they said it’s very common. I had a second ultrasound yesterday (6wk 3days) and it showed the baby is now 0.68cm and a healthy heart beat of 113!!!!

The radiographer didn’t comment on the bleed and said “we see a bleed in every second lady who comes through, I’m not worried”. I won’t find out for another 10 days the full results as my Dr is booked out.

My hcg has been doubling as it should be (at 6wks it was at 25,000). Has anyone else had this bleed and had a positive experience? (I also had a slightly elongated gestational sac at 5wk 4days - unsure of how it is now). I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m so worried as it is my first baby and don’t know what to expect!
