Alright, so I’ve been out of town for a while, and I’m coming back home the day I’m supposed to start my period. The thing is, I know I’ll want to have sex with my boyfriend, but period sex is out of the question (I feel weirdly self conscious during that time of the month) I once read that skipping the placebo pills to start the next dose right away could help me avoid the bleeding.. I have two questions..:

1. Can I do that? Like it it safe?

2. Will I still pms/ have the usual symptoms?
