After a lengthy induction for gestational hypertension at 38 weeks, we finally met our boy March 10th, 7lb 3 oz. Induction started on Friday, got postponed because of a busy maternity ward and under staffing, and ultimately my waters were broken on Sunday. I immediately dilated from a 3 to a 10 and had no time for an epidural. After 2 hours pushing and a vacuum used, OB decided on a c-section. There he discovered I have endometriosis and cauterized some of it. I am now recovering from vaginal as well as a c-section birth. It was rough today, ladies, but I'm so excited!
