Yes, gender disappointment is a real thing and it’s ok too feel down about it. Yes every baby is a blessing but your feelings are not invalid. I never wanted a girl but my second baby was a girl, I have a boy and girl n wouldn’t change it for the world I’d probably have 100 more kids boys girls mixed if I could but I can’t.

I would say I’ll be gender disappointed for awhile. I crave to have a boy we have 2 girls and this is our last one for 3-4 years so yes I’d be super disappointed. I want a healthy baby in the end but if it’s another girl I may cry

I think almost everyone (I'm sure there are a few exceptions tho) would love to have the chance to being Mom to both genders! So yes, I can see how that would be disappointing to me. 
We're having our 3rd son and I am so stoked to have 3 boys! My biggest desire was for a boy when I was pregnant with my 1st. We plan on one more baby, and OF COURSE I  would love that last baby to be a girl, right?? You always want it all. 
So my answer would be yes, then. If I had all of one gender and couldn't have the other, I would definitely feel that disappointment. I think it's very natural ...

We're having our 4th daughter. She's our last baby and we were disappointed. Of course we love her just as much though.
