Early pregnancy and job requirements
How did everyone deal with working a job while waiting to tell your boss? My previous 2 pregnancies my boss was like my second mom so she new right off the bat when I found out and was really good about catering to cleaning and what not (allowed me to clean the space with vinegar instead of bleach, etc) well now I work in retail and I want to wait until at least after my confirmation ultrasound (it’s schedule for 7w4d) I currently just found out and I’m 3w4d. My main worry is we are required if we work night to help clean the bathroom, sometimes they just choose people to do it and I obviously can’t give them the reason why I can’t but I’m not sure I should be using the cleaning supplies (or are they safe? I’ve heard otherwise but wasn’t sure, I use mainly vinegar and natural cleaners in my house so I’ve never paid attention to if that is a restriction or not) and then calling for carry outs of items for customers like big boxes of items. I’ve been trying to use the “wheels” if it’s a big item as to not draw attention to myself by declining the carry out but I don’t know what else to do. I’m terrified of saying something early and then something happen to the pregnancy so I want to at least wait for confirmation of a heartbeat. How did anyone else work around it?? I’m usually very active in helping out so I’m worried that me suddenly not helping will be a dead give away. Any advice??
