Any one else's SO annoyingly overprotective?

I posted about this a few days out of the hospital . He would go into his room every time he made a noise to make sure he was okay , was getting up randomly to make sure he was breathing. Wanted me to completely re arrange our studio so that the baby could be next to our bed (i purposefully arranged it to that there was a privacy wall which is a sheet , between our sleeping area and babies "room" ) I thought he'd lighten up . Ohhh no . When baby cries hard he gets kind of a cough in with it - SO freaked out thinking baby is getting sick - omg should we take his temp , should we call a doc ?!? And I'm like , ..... babe he's crying .... relax.

Scratched himself on the cheek and SO is like get the mittens I don't want the Pediatrician to think we're letting him get all scratched up ! (Y'all know how hard it is to keep those things on ?? ) I said I'll try but they don't really stay on (put them back on the baby 6 times in less than 5 min.

Baby has had some reflux , I have a bed wedge for the pack n play , told him I put it in there and to keep an eye on if there were any changes , like no spit up puddles on the crib sheet and he's going in the babies room every 10 minutes to check on him because he "doesn't like how the wedge makes the mattress sit up " and thinks it "looks unsafe" yall after 3 hours of him checking every 10 minutes it pissed me off so much I took the damn thing out .

Babies head tilts in the car seat - he will PULL OVER halfway between destinations to check on him straighten his head and make sure he is BREATHING!!! Sometimes I tell him things about baby like he may want more to eat, closer together right now because he's going through a growth spurt , and he QUESTIONS me like are you sure he needs it , you're sure he's not just comfort feeding , I don't want to over feed him and have a fat baby. (He has a fear of a fat baby because his mom overfed his older brother and would put rice cereal in his bottle and his brother ended up being 21lbs by the time he was 4 months old - A- it's not recommended tobout rice cereal in bottles anymore so we don't do that and B- babies aren't gonna eat 2oz thier whole lives, he will want more and we need to give it to him) Omg dude RELAX.

Baby went for his first solo visit to his God parents- SO was supposed to drop him off , go to the junkyard and pick him back up - instead he fiddled around in thier driveway with babies godfather working on his car (Not anything important like going to the junkyard was 😡) till dark and then said nevermind to going to the junk yard - saying he will have to do it when baby can stay with me so he isn't so worried about being gone. I freakin had a party the 4 hours they were gone , turned up the radio, cleaned and danced around but he was too worried to leave the baby at his godparents ?? Don't know why he suggested it in the damn first place then.

I am the total opposite.

Am I too relaxed ? Is he just extra ASF??
