Is this normal??

I just got off my period on the 8th had some spotting on the 9th, I decided I was going to start taking ovulation tests after almost a year of “if it happens it happens” (to get pregnant) I took one on the 10th clearblue advanced and it was the empty circle, then on the 11th took another one and also today both were the flashing smiley faces, im just wondering if this is normal to ovulate this soon and is this the reason for me not conceiving this long as I never have intercourse straight after my period :) any help is appreciated thank you!
