To all of the ladies out there struggling to conceive, let me share with you how great God is!!! First of all let me start by saying my husband and I have been TTC baby #2 for me #1 for him for 2 years now, with no luck. It has been a struggle and an emotional roller coaster for sure, but we have stayed steadfast in our prayers and so has our 8 year old daughter. She’s a little prayer worrier, and hasn’t said a single prayer in the last two years that didn’t include “ God please help my mom have a baby” or “ God please give us a baby”, because she wants a little brother or sister just as bad as we want to give her one. The other night after my daughter got out of the bath she came to me and my husband and said she needed to tell us something good that happened to her in the bath. She proceeded to tell us that while she was in the bath she prayed for God to give us a baby. She said after she was finished she was playing with her toys and her heart began to beat really fast and she felt the Lord speaking to her heart and he said “ I’m going to give y’all a baby, I’m going to give y’all a baby”. My daughter was crying she was so overwhelmed with emotion, and she just kept saying “ my heart is filled with so much joy”. As you can imagine I cried because WOW!!! God spoke to us through my own little girl, how amazing is that. There is hope, and he does hear our prayers. I serve an awesome God and I am so thankful for this blessing and for all my blessings. What a story this will be for her to tell her little brother or sister one day. God is good, don’t lose faith!!
