Emergency Cerclage Success Stories?

I had an emergency cerclage placed at 17+5 after seeing basically no cervix, funneling, and 1/2 cm dilated. I’m now 18+2 on bedrest until my follow up on Friday where my MFM thinks I can go back to work. I went from 4cm to 0 in 2 weeks. Success stories? I was on progesterone shots starting at 16+2, but now on suppositories to see if I respond better.

I had an emergency cerclage at 21 weeks.  I had 1 cm of cervix.  I took off work for 1 week after the procedure to rest.  Im also on vag progesterone and no sex/orgasms.  Im now almost 37 weeks!

I’ve heard lots of good things with the cerclage. I got lucky and ended up not needing one and was able to use the suppositories and had my LO at 37 and 6

I have only had preventative cerclage sin place but they are a life saver...I would not try to go back to work at least until your baby’s out of the danger zone (26 weeks +) since you’re already dilating and effacing the chances of going into preterm labor are high even with the cerclage in place. Stay on bed rest and stay hydrated you have a few more weeks before baby is viable
