Okay so I was watching this show last night and there was a scene where a new FTM had gotten home and saw formula in the trash can, even though she EBF. She asked the nanny if she gave her son formula and she told her yes, that there was not enough breastmilk and her son was hungry. She ended up firing the nanny. My question for breastfeeding mothers/those who tried to breastfeed is— what would you have done in the situation?

Do you think the nanny should have asked the mom if it was okay?

Would you have fired her?

I personally would have preferred being asked or informed so I could have picked the formula I wanted him to have and depending on the nannies attitude and length of time with us I may consider termination as well. I’m very sensitive about breastfeeding in general though 🤷🏽‍♀️
