Sleeping with tampons??

Does anyone sleep with a tampon in. When I first get my period it’s really heavy which is why I always wear a pad and tampon but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to sleep in it.

Don’t leave it in for more than 6 hours!
Sleeping with a tampon in isn’t bad. But leaving one in for too long can cause toxic shock syndrome, which is extremely dangerous and can kill you!

I do it and nothing has happened. I’m sure someone will say it’s bad for you or whatever and maybe it is, but I do it. I sleep with a tampon in and a pad because otherwise, I usually bleed through my pad overnight.

I’m glad this was posted because I am bleeding so so so bad and I thought about putting a tampon in . I’ll just set my alarm for 6 hours to change it.(my baby will probably be my alarm clock and get me up before 6 hours. Lol )

i usually don’t just because i don’t like to risk it, but most tampons are ok for up to 6 hours

It’s not recommended since you’re supposed to change them every 4-6 hours and some people are long, heavy sleepers. You should be fine with a heavy flow pad.
