Late last night I started getting intense muscle aches, chills, headache, and soon after that a 99.8 degree temperature. I was also shaking a bit. I called the on call doctor and left a message to ask what I should do since I’m almost 40 weeks.

He called back and said to go to my PCP or urgent care today to get some antiviral meds in me before the baby makes an appearance in case it’s the flu.

The weird thing though is soon after that I started feeling better. My fever left, aches went away, etc. So I just went to sleep and since waking up again I feel very normal. So I never went to the doc. Baby has been acting normally too.

So weird. Anyone else have a very fast infection like that before?
