Started on my due date, my water broke and went straight to the hospital! My labor was 19 hours long. I had an epidural and it wasn’t bad at all! Felt like a little poke! Everybody is so different, epidural wasn’t bad for me but it is for some, cervix checks for me are hellish though, because I have a high cervix I guess.

I pushed off and on for like 2 hours. It was very exhausting so I’m glad I got to nap in between!

I did tear to the fourth degree, so recovery has been rough. Swelling is pretty intense. I walk like a 9 month pregnant crippled old lady!

I am 5’2”

Husband is 6’5”

Baby was 9 pounds and 5 oz! Also 22 inches long! I’m so proud that I gave birth to him vaginally, I never knew I could have a big baby! He is beautiful and a great mix of my husband and I!
