I went in with the mindset of wanting to see how far I could go but I wouldn't be upset with myself if I got the epidural. And that's exactly what happened! Getting the epidural was a great decision for me and I don't regret it at all. I'm super proud that I made it 12 hours and to 7 cm without it, but I'm glad I got it.

I used two tanks of gas. I would never get the epidural I have family who suffered and still suffer from back pain after having it. With the gas time flew by. I was in labor for 48 hours and half way through I started the gas and I used that right up to when I started pushing.

The myth about epidural is that you can't feel anything. SO NOT TRUE!!! I was able to feel all of my contractions and a ton of pressure and it still hurt like hell! Can't imagine how much pain a natural birth would be... no thanks! My labor experience was WONDERFUL with my epidural. Plan on the same for this baby 🤞

Epidural with both of my girls, no shame at all ..that stuff was amazing lol. With one of them (I don't remember which one) the epidural slowly started wearing off right when I was about to push..so I felt a little of everything on just my left side but still was bearable. I believe that was from getting the epidural too early with that one.

I had an epidural when I got to 5cm. Best thing ever! I was so relaxed and felt no pain. Pushed for 7 minutes and didn’t feel any pain, just pressure. I will 100000% do it again this time around if I’m able to 🤞🏼

I had epidural and spinal block with first baby because she was spine on spine. She also had to be got out with forceps because she got stuck. In fact I had a lot of pain relief but burned most of it off because I got unbelievably hot. Got an infection from the hospital. I struggle to trust them now having my second

It didnt go as planned, i wanted a vaginal birth and no epidural. Well i got induced at 40 weeks ,went in the contractions were so painful i  got an epidural at 4 cm dilated stalled out at 5 cm and then bay girls heart started raising so c section it was. At least my baby girl came out healthy, thats all that matters. Next time im scheduling a c section.

I had 2 csections 1st was an emergency and that birth was aweful not bc of the csection but me and my daughter both almost died 2nd was a planned csection and was 1000000000 times better
