I read that nipples get darker in early pregnancy. Is that just the nipple itself or does that include the areola? My areolas are naturally dark so it’s hard to tell if they are getting darker but the actually nipple is definitely darker than normal. Almost a purpley red kind of shade. As if they’re filled with blood. And the very tip of my nipples are white. My nipples a definitely sensitive and my breasts seem a little tender.
